Everyone loves lists, and the kind of list we all love the most is “things other people do”. To satisfy the thundering demand, here’s the software I use on a regular basis, and genuinely love using.
I tend to use software built by traditional small businesses or individuals, or open source software. I don’t settle on quality, however. If I’m using it, I think the application is best in class for my use cases.
I also exclusively use a Mac now, and also tend to favor native Mac apps for their speed, and general design and usability polish. I want the software I use to sweat the details.
